Yup!! Entirely with the mixer brush. Background painted with Michelle's techniques of scrumbler and background breakup. |

I love that the background figures are blurred out. This definitely draws my attention to the conductor and his guitar. The two foreground "heads" set off the composition nicely. Well done. |

I love the effect you have achieved here. The background painting effects perfectly enhance that little boy. I absolute love each brush stroke on the playground equipment. My only suggestion would be to "MAYBE" reduce the opacity of the brush strokes on the boys face and arms. This is, of course, MY personal preference. I think the image would shine either way.

I applaud you for sticking with Corel painter. My innate understanding is that Corel is more daunting to learn; BUT the results are so much better than can even be imagined. Maybe someday, I'll take on this software. I love how natural the upper 2/3 looks in this image. The rocks, water and trees are so serene. Fantastically painted with great brush strokes! I do agree with you that the foreground foliage is a little muddy and detail-less. The foreground grasses in front of the rocks are great; so perhaps cropping the image below these grasses might work for this image. And, keep going with Corel; all the painting using this tool is paying off. |

I love the flowing effect in both of these images, and I appreciate the brush strokes that now exist in the painted version. If possible, though, I would try and sharpen the upper portions of the painted image. To me, the three rocks on the right, the log, and the upper water now look soft. If these objects were now sharper, the water would look even smoother and slower and would give the image a more dreamy quality. |

I love the abstract quality of this image, and especially like that the tree is sharper in the reflected body of water as compared to the upper "puddle." And, for me, it's the yellows of the trees, and even in the surrounding rocks, that brings this image to life. |

This is an absolute WOW!!! I love it! And what a genius solution to the color contamination. Your use of the background break up is excellent. I love that there is little to no detail on the outskirts of the image and then detail is revealed as you move closer to Holly's face. Beautiful image. You and Holly deserve to be proud of it. |
