Great job in "seeing" this light fixture and its wonderful light beams and shadows. For me, that's where the strength and CREATIVITY of the image lies; and it's why this image speaks to me.
I don't mind the addition of the moth, but do wish it was a tad sharper. And, personally, I MIGHT have tried to add a subtle, low opacity, texture to bring a little contrast to the "wall." (I can't, offhand, think of one that would work well here, however). And, sometimes, less is definitely more; I would not want a chosen texture to take away from the light beams and shadows. |

The DaVinci Sketch 4 preset worked great with these shoes. The tonality and texture perfectly match the shoes, themselves. And, I agree with you that flowers would have looked out of place here. You did well to choose the gold nuggets, which complement the color in the shoes. With all the brown and dark tonalities in the frame, foreground and background, the gold coloring really pops and draws the eyes right to the shoes. Excellent! |

The vantage point from where you took this image is great. I love that the bank, and it's windows, are front and center. The old car makes me think that bank robbers are inside (oops, are you that bank robber?), and this is their getaway car. The painterly effect you chose adds to the antique presentation of the buildings and cars. And, as presented, I can't even tell what the signs say, so leaving them in does not cause a distraction for me. |

I love what the Mixed Media Photo Art has done to this image. It now just pops out at us and even looks three dimensional. I like what you did with the vignette and border. However, I have to admit that I personally preferred Version #2 - even with its diagonal areas.
I truly appreciate sharing our thoughts; and there is never a right or a wrong. Betty would prefer a more subtle sky... while I love all the drama (sky included) that the Smart Photo Editor brought out of this image. Great job. |

PS... Did you use an iPhone photo app? If yes, which one? |

Van Gogh would have been proud!! I didn't even know you could do this in your iPhone. I'll have to investigate. It's not the iPhone gimmicks that make this, though. Your attention to the balanced composition, with both foreground and background leading lines is what makes this image for me. Great job seeing this image's potential. |

I love the colors and texture of this aging, beautiful tulip. Your compositional choices were all spot on: bending the stem and adding the additional bloom, especially. The texture you chose must have given this image extra depth when printed on the rag paper. A very simple, yet elegant image. Great job. |
