Hi Nellie. I thank you for your decision to "let it stay"- serving as your homage to Howard. He would have been so happy with your composite. It was the perfect backdrop for his rough-faced, cigar smoking persona. The technicalities of this image are great - Howard is lit well and in the correct proportion in the image. I thought about cropping the trees on the right - but I now think it best to leave them in so that they balance the composition. |

To this I say "wow". To me, it now looks like a very delicate Oriental print on rice paper. It even looks like it has a water color treatment; especially with the green colors bleeding down at the bottom. As presented, I do not mind the telegraph tower on the right. However, if you wish to present this as a more delicate Oriental-rendition, I would prefer that the tower be cloned out. |

I, too, prefer the version as displayed. It might have been "cool" to only reverse some of the signs!! Then it could have been a 9-way stop!! In my opinion, the image was improved by cloning out the Bump sign - expertly done, I might add. A great example of a "drive by" shooting. Well done. |

Just to prove that there is never a "right" or "wrong" interpretation; I prefer this blue, creative version. In it's current form, it looks like something that you would see at the bottom of the ocean; with it's spires reaching towards the surface. I much prefer the blue/green tonalities over the many multi tones of the original. In either form, it was great "seeing" this for its potential creative expression. |

I love the creativity of this image. Adding the foreground faded tulips, in their sharpened format, was a great way to lead us into the rest of the image. The shadowing below the little girl is well placed. The multiplicity of the background treatment creates a soft, serene mood; which is wonderful. |

Hi Peter, I love this image. And Jerry is correct in that it reminds me of a Norman Rockwell presentation. Even the subject matter fits!! The composition is great; I love that I can see the faces of both subjects in the mirror. Great, great job. |
