Great treatment. Adding the sketch and colorization aspects really worked. This is a great way to turn a B&W to a hand colored image. The DaVincy Sketch treatment made the image appear as if it is now right in the middle of the jungle, with trees all around. The only things that I would personally change would be the remove the person going up the stairs on the left (looks somewhat alien-like) and then I would also darken this area a bit, so as to better draw attention to the ostrich and people looking at the ostrich. |

Hi Peter, did you selectively change the focus with AI Sharpener? Because now, the background is very muted, which is wonderful. And the sharpness of the dandelion was retained, which, with its many tendrils could have been tricky. The image now also appears to glow more, with a different tonality. Great job. |

Another great shoe image - from one "shoe lady" to another. As Barbara noted, I do miss seeing the heel on the front shoe. Other than that, I appreciate everything else in the image. The roses are a perfect complement to the heels. And the poster edge effect on everything but the flowers and heels is a plus. |

Great composite and creative idea. I like that you thought to "bury his feet" under the mound of grass. I also like the placement of the horse; slightly off center. To better "match" the lighting, I would try to lighten the horse's right side, if possible. The lighting on the background is very even. But the grass mound is dark on the left and the horse is dark on the right. If you could lighten the horse's right side, the lighting would obtain better synchronicity. |

I love your creative vision so much. This image now pops for me; and in my opinion is much better than the original. I also love what Topaz Glow has done. I especially appreciate the rim lights of red and orange colors. This keeps my eyes traveling around the image. Great job. |

Hi Pat. Yes, in painting, I essentially hand color the image. But you use Photoshop "mixer brushes" rather than traditional brushes. Many Photoshop brush can function as mixer brushes. There are many mixer brush tutorials available through various sites. I hope you look into painting, you will get hooked!!!! |

Hi Pat and welcome to the group.
I love this image. Everything came together so well and the story of this image is wonderful. Your sizing perspectives are perfect. I'm torn about cropping the tree on the right. I think the tree is not absolutely necessary to the image; but if you crop the tree you would lose too much of that wonderful leading line fence. I also always look at shadows in composites like this. The shadow under the woman is great; but I would darken it "just a bit" right under her feet. I love that you can see the shadow of her arm. Great, great job. |
