Thanks Alan. I did process it both ways and personally liked the red entrance light. I did, however actually tone it down a bit, so your critique was completely understood. And as noted, Baskin Robbins does have 31 flavors. I want to thank you so much for adding a comment and checking other DDG groups. I do this also, and get such inspiration from seeing the great work of others. |

Wow, this is still my favorite software application - and I do not even have this yet!! I love the lines and curves that this treatment gave the tree trunk, grass and flowers. The image would still have been a strong one without the bird; however, I do agree with adding it and facing it the way it is presented.
PS.. I don't see ANY faces in the tree trunk. It's like those 3-D hidden images. I can never spot it's underlying picture, either. |

I love how the DAP Watercolor application rendered this scene. In the original image, my opinion would have been that the road and beach were somewhat distracting as my eye is drawn mainly to the house. The treatment used here does put less emphasis on the beach foreground. I know that this image is titled "Swanpool Beach," but I would also try cropping out the road and beach (bottom third) and see how you like the image that way. Of course, this is just a personal preference and I do appreciate how this image was presented. |

My favorite parts of this image is how well Tinkerbell blends into the textured background and how his/her eyes now seem so much bigger and brighter showing through the mask. Very creative and kudos for the "out of the box" thinking. I agree with Peter that you excelled yourself this month. |

The subtle diagonal lines is what makes this composition for me. The fence and barbed wire take my eye along the diagonal, and then the razor wire adds that "something" extra that makes this composition excellent. The poster edge treatment worked very well with this image. |
