Thank you Nellie...very good point. I can reverse the layers and see if I like it better. |

You've done a great job with this composite. The thing I like most is the "scale". I love that the castle recedes while the man is front and center and just the right size for this composite. Swapping out the sky was a very nice added touch as well. I also agree with Betty that the stones of the building could be lightened a touch. |

This was an excellent image for the Topaz Glow technique. The glow even did a great job with the background, which remains subtle and non-distracting. I now love all the leading, glowing lines from the center of the flower. My eyes go from the center of the flower to all areas in the image. Well done. |

Hi Betty, To me this image is all about the lady and the boiler. Even though you handled the background creatively and well... it is still drawing your eye away from the lady. And when I saw her foot hanging out of the boiler, I thought you could crop this tight and frame it with her foot actually coming out of the picture frame. So I played with it and cropped it square, added canvas, and a stroke to match her shirt and then "copied and pasted" her foot from the original image over the extended canvas. This is your image and your interpretation, and mine might be too comical for the mood you wanted to create. It was just what first grabbed me about this image. |

The insect in the petal is great. And I LOVED your choice of a background. If you had kept the original, the mood would not have been the same. It's still a 30 to me. |

Lisa....this would have been a 30 for me, even with an amputated leg!! I love the curve of the orchid (and its sharpness) and then how it goes soft as it recedes into the background. |
