I see the cat....I should, I have 4 of my own. I like your whole idea here. The white streaks seem to point the way to the other worldly future. I would only suggest that the cat be lightened a bit more to give a little less heavy feeling. |

Alan, since I am a bird photographer, the first thing I noticed was the 1/2 bird!! Oh my!! When I got past that, I appreciate what you've done regarding the different elements particularly the windmills and shadows. I am confused as to what the relationship is among them. Perhaps you can tell me. |

Thanks, Joan. I do have some of my own textures...just really liked this one. I agree this is a hindrance not to be able to use Topaz or others. |

You have a great idea here. You did a good job of inserting the "ghost rider." I would like to see you try and make him more opaque so you would have the feeling of seeing through the ghost, which might make him more "ghostly!" |

Joan, you have conquered the slow shutter speed!! There's just enough sharpness to make out the positions of the jockeys and the movement of the horses. No more cropping necessary.

Barrie, I like the texture here and the bright colors. The bright pink gives a feeling of movement to the image. I do agree with Brian that the space below give them room to land. I don't think the pink and blue on the right edge add to the overall composition. It appears disconnected from the large pink shape. Overall, very well done. |

Brian, I quite like this image as is. The "hair" doesn't obstruct the eye. The monochrome works well here with the oil filter letting the texture show through. I get the feeling of wind blowing the hair around. I don't get the feeling of a headache, but that's a good thing. |

I will try adding a little more blue. And yes, I did use a layer mask to reveal the original bird, but chose to put this one in. Thanks! |
