Unfortunately, my post-processing took place a while ago and I cannot remember the steps. But I probably used one of the NIK filters to obtain the effect. |

A very interesting window indeed. It shows the attempts that have been made to recolor the shutters and the disrepair that they are now in. I would consider cropping out the adjacent white frame from the left side - it is a distraction. |

Very nicely handled image of the flower and especially with its tilt. Martin's sharpening worked very well. Beautiful image. |

Interesting shot of the contrast between the stark man-built structure and the softness of the water flowing through it. I do think that perhaps you could try a B&W version since this image seems to lend itself to that. I think also that there could be a slight cropping on the right side to include the 3 white vertical lines. |

Perfect. Great pose and wonderful results with the post processing to emphasize the results of her hard life. The placement of the charred wood also works very well in offsetting the potential negative space on the top left. Excellent. |

The earth tones of the wall are very pleasing. However, I think that an improvement could be gained by removing some of the right hand side even though that would mean centering the door. In this image that would not matter because the 2 flower pots give a nice symmetry to the picture. Nice work. |

It looks like he is strategizing his next move! I thought that the portrait needed a little tightening - so I cropped, eliminated the mic and tried to reduce the overly-bright right arm by extending the grey shirt and darkening the remainder of his arm. This would be my approach to your work. |

Thanks, Beverly, for the explanation. It was a late night when I originally posted and not in a mood to elaborate. Martin: Once a year (when there is no Wuhan virus) a group of us, through a camera club in Delray Beach FL, get together to drive 100 miles north to a lake where the Ospreys are known to nest. At dawn we embark on pontoons to get our shots of the birds. Martin - you can now rest. |
