Looks great, including the color on the photographer. My club would allow that in its color or creative category - but I would submit it in the latter just to be safe. |

It would not be eligible anyway because of the changes made to background, perch, etc. for Nature in PSA. My club does not have that category so it's fine for them. |

Nice landscape, Dan. My eye follows the valley into the distance between the two mountains. The clouds are colorful and it looks like you caught it at the right time. |

Nice shot to show what nature produces. Piers has good suggestions to help reduce the out-of-focus areas. |

Laurie - I don't like being the odd person out, but the image does not draw my eye to any central point. It may portray colorful bark and nice colors, but it doesn't say anything to me. I might try some vignetting but I don't know whether that would help - to my eye. |

I agree with everyone else - the B&W is the preferred image. I love the star burst lights on the boats. The photographer on the pier works very well. As a contrast, you might consider leaving the lighthouse in color for a composite B&W and color image. Just a suggestion. |

Nicely done - sufficient blur and lots of negative space on the right - perhaps a little more on the left. A watercolor effect. A cool shot! |

Additional narrative supplied by Dan - but not included in description above:
"This photo was taken at Yosemite National Park during golden hour. It was shot at sunset and I did not know at the time how the light would affect the photograph. The main subject of the picture was too small in the original so I did a large crop. I wish I could go back and reshoot this with a longer lens."
Sorry - but the system does not allow me to re-enter the description.

Got it - thanks. I was so amazed at the sky replacement that I failed to notice the head - or, I thought I could get away with it. Choose one. |

Thanks, Piers. I attended a full day training session yesterday for Luminar 4 held at one of the camera clubs I am a member of. The presenter laid out the features well but no solution to some of the issues I have encountered. The good news is that the development team is on the ball and we can expect further features - and fixes to issues when notified. |

Thanks, Brenda. I applied some 'extra pixels' to modify the head although not the same color scheme as the original. |

Spectacular image, Shirley. I really like the crowds that are photographing the engine and the clouds of steam and smoke that evolve into a beautiful abstract picture. Your post production work paid off! |

A great capture and beautifully processed image. The contrast between junior's mouth and the otherwise grey color of the rest makes it! |
