I go along with Piers that the white hotspot should be reduced in brightness. Shirley's comment on cropping should move the boat into the 1/3 square intersection for better balance. However, I can agree with you that the wave patterns are quite worth capturing. |

I think the shot is just great as it is. Although tempting, fixing things to make them perfect is not necessary for plants transitioning from this world, in my opinion. However, a little experimentation, such as shown by Hung, would not be out of place. |

I like the dimensions of the image after Al's first comments. However, Laurie's suggestion is a good one. The image, as is, needs a little 'pop'. |

Nice shot and color correction, Piers. My comment would be to allow more space on the left side which is where the sailboat is heading. In my experience, many judges in competition make that suggestion and that would take away any issue of the subject being too centered.

The brown area is actually the cat unlit by the flash. There is a little more now than in the original. Some was added during the ear extension process of extending the canvas and cloning. But good suggestion to lighten it. Thanks Bob and Piers. |

Very colorful abstract and nicely portrayed. Can't think of any improvements that could be made. |

Nicely done, Al. Good composition, contrast and color. I might crop it a tad on the left to remove the planter. But making a call from that booth would now not be possible since the phone itself is not there - just as well we have cell phones now. |

Good point, Shirley. I didn't notice the ear before. I shall try to patch it up with a reverse of the left ear tip and an increased canvas. That's the plan, anyway. |
