Welcome Bob. Whilst the idea of the image may be good, I think it's a little too busy. I guess that the intention is that the center of interest is the pier building. If that's the case, then my eye is drawn to the background vertical bridge structure and the cable brightness. I might try darkening these although I am probably in disagreement with the majority. |

I agree with Shirley & Hung. I think the original is a better image and the color bands in the water behind the tree make the difference. The ducks seem to be much more visible in the color one rather than being hidden in the grey water. |

A well lit and photographed image of the clay figure. I have no issues with the image as is. Just great. However, there is a caveat if entering into competitions held by some camera clubs that may have rules about capturing someone else's artwork, as my club does. Judges can also be picky with some lauding the black background without boundary definition and others insisting that the image be framed. I know that it might spoil the look of a infinite background but here it is with a border. |

Hung - if you only could have stepped one pace to the left then the rear ring might have been fully visible. However, if one is constrained by a seat or the like, that is frustrating to a photographer. The rings show slight movement and the rest of the image is sharp and colorful. Showing the dancer's face more might also have improved the composition. |

A very nicely captured image of the capitol, well composed and sharp. I agree with Al and Laurie on the rhs light but my approach would be to clone out the light thus preserving the configuration of the original image. |

I'm afraid that this image does not do it for me, Al. Unfortunately the beautiful but overly bright golden reflection overwhelms the subject ducks and that causes them to be a bit lost in the image. My eye is drawn to the reflection, not the ducks which also suffer from a lack of sharpness. |
