Thanks, Hung. LR = Lightroom (which I will now have to explore). I thank you for your kind invitation. We shall consider the journey in that timeframe, although it appears to be in the same timeframe as our egret birthing. - Harry |

Thanks, Hung. I see the improvement! I also notice that your image is sharper than my original. What other actions did you perform beyond the darkening of the leaves to sharpen it up so much? |

Nicely framed image of the squirrel. Whereas the animal is very nicely lit without a flash, the white area behind its head and in the background should probably be darkened since one's eye is drawn to thee light areas. I dabbled a little to see if it helped. |

Quite a beautiful rendition of any flower without having to name it. Very artistic treatment of color and especially the framing which really makes the image. |

A very interesting shot highlighting another culture. I, too, couldn't make out what the black 'marks' were and thought initially that they might have been tattoos, which didn't make sense. I agree with most of Shirley's assessment but would add darkening the white blouse of the woman on the right and the other white area to the left of the barber's head.

A very quaint cottage which shows its age. I do see a couple of (to my eye) improvements. Although you said that the grass is part of the framing, I think that there is too much foreground, a little less tree on the right along with some darkening, and the removal of the silo on the left along with the building in the background. The viewer does not know that the leftmost building is a silo and appears to me to be a distraction. I have attached my suggestions and you may quite rightly disagree with them. |
