Good eye. The green patch was my bad patch.

Nicely composed shot with the tree line leading off to the horizon. I like this B&W image. However, in the style of Kenna, I might consider deepening the blacks a little so that the leftmost tree feels closer as the others trail off into the fog and that cropping a little off the right (to the 3 tiny marks on the bottom border), to my eye, would improve the shot. I am always looking for a shot like this but in Florida, there is little opportunity. |

Nicely composed image of the stalactites in the cave. I do love the ripples in the water which provides relief in what would be a clearly reflected surface. I understand the limitations of the equipment and the environment and this has resulted in an effect that, to me, is an issue namely the blackness of the cave background. But one gets what one can at the time and I have suffered from that many times. |

Beautiful image of the boat and dock. The mist makes it feel like an early morning shot with crispness in the air. Nicely processed in sepia. My comment would be similar to Shirley's on the left but just clone out the rightmost pole (and its reflection) to allow the image to have plenty of width. Also, I would clone out the two vehicles which, to me, makes the image look too 21st century instead of portraying the mystique of an earlier time. |

Hung: I agree with Shirley's analysis. The colors and the sharpness are great but he is too close to the left with undue clutter in the right background. Cropping as per Shirley's description would enhance the image a lot and, if you permit me, I have taken the liberty to illustrate. (I have too much time on my hands.) Then, a little darkening of the bright doorway would help. |

Beautiful capture of the horses with 8 off the ground! Nicely composed with room in the direction of travel. Oh if we could just eliminate the electronic board in the rear whose sharpness is enough to interfere with the foreground detail. To my eye, just blackening out the bright lettering and numbers might just be enough (if I may). The brown trees as a background would have been perfect. |

Good point - I followed your suggestion. I assumed that the dimple was its ear - until I looked it up - and it isn't. A parrot's ear hole is slightly lower than its eye but further back. |
