Thanks, Malabika. I will do that - when I can find another bee! |

Thanks, Gary. You make me want to drive up north and get some of that honey.

Well, there are still some bees - but not as many as a few years ago. |

I would try cloning the right-hand arch over the left one. That may work. |

I like this image a lot. It is sharp and well composed. I think your treatment of the sky is just fine - the clouds break up the otherwise dark sky and give the image some personality. Also, with a lighter sky, you would not be able to see the lights streaking ever so slightly from the cantilevered roof of the building on the left. Nice job. |

Quite a great image. Composition, color and sharpness excellent and I really like the way the building is lit. The long exposure probably caused the clouds to be displayed indistinctly which further adds to the image. Great work, Shirley. |

I love the color and the composition of this image - to a degree. It does seem like one could pull out a lawn chair and a book and just feel comfortable in the scene - but if you did, not on the road, please. My reservation is that the image has no subject at the end of the road like a person walking or a building or the such. That would certainly improve the picture. |

Gary: I think that a lot of the foreground should be cropped out - it is not the subject and losing it will also move the horizon down so that it does not sit half way down. (Just back from my camera club's judging where they emphasize the rule of thirds for the horizon also). Otherwise, I tend to think that the original color image is much better and I really like the composition, colors and the streaky clouds. May I post my suggestion below? |

A couple of things cause me to comment on this image. First, the obvious brown 'interference' on the bottom left of the image which might be better cropped out or cloned out - if one is an expert. Secondly, it's a pity that the top of the dome is not exactly under the tip of the arch. I know how hard it is to get a good image at the Taj - I've been there and the crowds are enormous plus, if you are in a tour group, the leader is usually insensitive to photographers and wants to muster their group through as fast as possible. |
