Donna, perfectly good. Well done. Your positive attitude towards photography is extremely good. Firstly you were afraid.. after I demonstrated the effect & attach for you to see & you further enhance it by making the feathers with more details. I believe you enjoy your work.
Keep up your good work! That is the spirit of a good photographer.
To be honest, I do right the first place & I seldom use photoshop & other software light-room to create the enhancement. I am old fashion photographer where I shoot during the film age. That's why you see my work, seldom I do enhancement, etc. From the start, I do it right till the end. Thank you. |

It is a nice & lovely portrait of the man smoking the cigar especially the smoke being up in front of his face. The expression shows he is enjoying smoking the cigar. Well done. |

Capturing these 2 birds is not an easy task. I had managed to crop the top & the bottom thus bringing the subject matter nearer, so it is in focus. Take a look at it. |

To me I feel the colour of the image is good, only problem is the lighting from the top left hand side, you can edge out thru photoshop & tone down the strong lighting, with the creation of layer file. That my suggestion. |

My opinion is the left hand side of the image had a vertical branch which is a bit distracting, one way is to remove it thru photoshop or alternatively have a tight crop which makes the image of the bird larger, in this way it is more in focus rather than seeing those unwanted branches which is a bit distracting. |
