Joseph, Isn't it interesting how none of the Group picked up on the bright petal at the bottom which is so glaringly obvious. I have to say, at the time of making my comment, I didn't even notice it was there as I was totally immersed in the myriad of abstract colours and shapes that conjured up the visual story in my mind's eye. That says something for the author in his ability to deflect the attention from the obvious. As we say on this side of the pond, "I will try to do better next term!" Thanks for your insightful comment. |

Peter, Thank you for your kind words which are much appreciated. It is good when the boundaries of traditional art forms can be blurred to create a third image; a bit like Audio Visual. |

Phillipa, This is a very creative image which I simply love. It is simple in its colour palette, very busy in its construction and it speaks volumes at all kinds of levels. The recession of the crosses is wonderful and the way that some crosses seem to be illuminated by lights hidden behind the darker crosses in front of them is brilliant. Congratulations and very well done. |

Steve, I like the combination of the abstract shapes created by the glass beads and the reality of the flower. I am reminded of the Lady of Shallot where she is lying motionless in the water amidst a sea of flowers. I would agree with Joan to remove the light strip on the right hand edge which is distracting. |

Peter, I quite like the amorphous shape of the bubble in which I can see all sorts of things, drawing on my own life experiences. It is also very much a case of I see what I want to see. The colours, shapes and abstract patterns work for me. |

Joan, I like the dark foreboding tones of your original 2 which conjures up a sense of mystery, intrigue and fear of the dark. If you add the spider to that mix, you have a recipe for an eye-catching image. |

Phillipa, Thank you for your kind words which are much appreciated. I like your analogy of the horse and carriage drawing up in front of the house and how the image conjures up memories of yesteryear. |
