The composition, the colors, and the painterly technique make this very effective, Nancy. I like your addition of the soldiers to what you referred to as a reflection. I thought it was a window with old glass-- and very effective. Yes, the solitary table leg doesn't seem to belong. Often, I find that if I question something, I need to remove (or change) it-- our instincts are often right. |

Wonderful color contrast with those luscious greens against the beige background. Your treatment of the wall de-emphasises the texture and makes it a good complement to the model. |

All those angles contribute to a very dynamic image, contrasted beautifully with the clouds. The coloration of the clouds is lovely, as is the slightly warmish overall color of the image. Having a collection of sky and cloud photographs can be a wonderful resource for saving an otherwise dull photo. |
