Gloria's treatment also gives a nice effect, which I like very much. Sooo many ways to treat a subject! |

Great painting, Gloria, and different from your usual style. It's nice that we can experiment with a variety of techniques |

Great job, Tom, on all the variations. Because of the texture in the main rendition, the painting seems to be done with colored pencils, rather than ink--- but I love it. I don't like the blotchiness on your face in the last one (I can recommend a good dermatologist!), although the brush work is nice on the other areas. |

The flower is beautifully rendered, Gerhard. To my eye, though, I feel the sharp edges on the leaves fight with the softness of the petals. But overall, you did a terrific job. |
