I have yet to capture such a sharp, close-up image of this type of a frog (perhaps not patient enough). Nice editing. I also have discovered many little things in the world that is usually below the level of awareness, through photography. One of the delights of the hobby. |

Good catch. I also like your crop. I might have a tendency to play around a little with the mid-tones to see if they could produce more details. I have a place to go to catch the cranes during their wintering months in southern Tn., and this capture looks a lot like mine, in early morning light, from a rather far distance. They look like they are all lined up! |

Nice set-up. I agree with Shelia, and might even try changing the background to a gray or darker color. Sounds like a fun project. Looks like perfect DOf. |

Wow, I have shot the steel wool with more light, inside an ice cave, and in a field here in Tn. The beach makes a great place to capture the light at night. Did you remove any of the red/yellow coloring, and/or, what WB did you use for the shot? Thanks for posting! |
