28 Jun 23 Comment Impressive landscape, and good presentation of the layers of the land. The dramatic sky adds to the image, but it also pulls at the eye a bit. I might have the tendency to either replace the sky with a milder or less dramatic sky, or lower the brightness of this sky. Either way, I love the depth that is shown of the hill and background foliage. Stand-out trees are special I think. Jun 14th
28 Jun 23 Comment A difficult shot well-executed. I like the pose and reflections. I understand how we oftentimes are limited with wildlife shots, but had there been a way to put just a little more distance between the top of the head and the lines of the distant shore, that would have been nice. You captured some really good details in a dark, moving bird! Jun 14th
28 Jun 23 Comment I'm with Kathy on liking the subject to retain the color and the background in black and white. However, when comparing the two, the b&w does seem to accent the wrinkles and facial character of the subject. What an interesting portrait! Jun 14th
