You've done a bunch of work with these images it looks like! I like the second image better, with no people, and just one chandelier with, black border. I like the bottom crop as well, because the eye doesn't have to travel to find the beginning of the earth light on the left. |

I had the same reaction when looking at the given exposure time. Thanks for the correction! You did well to get an exposure that is not blurred, even 1/8th of a second! There is a lot to look at in this photo, with the truck, building and its painting, the totem and the people in the background, and also the street lamps. Sounds like a challenge to photograph for sure. A good documentary photo. |

I'm curious, natural lighting or did you use a flash? I agree with Deb, the chandelier is a little bright. The lights along the path, with the people on the path, tells a story for sure. Also, what were your camera settings? The reason I am asking is that I plan a trip to a zoo at night soon and may have an interest in camera settings! I like your treatment of the edges, of lightening them, but am not a fan of this kind of frames. Thanks. |

Well put together! Shadows and lighting all going in the same directions, and the seagulls add interest and depth. |

I also like the black and white better than the color image. It might be interesting to see more of his facial features. |

I like your idea for making a triplex of these images of stones and their colors, textures, and 'pictures'. I, too, see the 'images' within stones and enjoy taking those abstract kinds of pictures. |

Thank you Margot. I agree about the green leaves on the right. Oftentimes I forget to remove distractions before taking a shot, sometimes it's possible and sometimes not. |
