The lovely water seems to be lost in the vintage image, although I agree with Kathy that the water is more prominent in the colored image. The exposure seems to be spot on, and you might consider a more vertical crop in the monochrome image....cropping off much of the right portion that seems to be a fallen-down fence? (actually the crop might end up being more square). You would lose some of the blue skies tho. Your trip sounds like a real adventure. Jul 10th
28 Jul 22 Comment What I like most about this image is the contrast between the bird who must have been in the shade and the lighter background. The details are not shabby either, and the little fellow is all in focus. Well-done. Jul 10th
28 Jul 22 Comment Wonderful focus and capture of the facial expressions. The starbursts add a bit I think, as do the reflections in the instrument. Nice crop to remove some of the background. Jul 10th

28 Jul 22 Reply Thanks Kathy. Actually, this is a mistake. I was showing what the actual sunset was like with image #2..........the one submitted above is in a different direction. I should have explained that the one that is posted as the original is the actual sunset, from which the main shot posted is a reflection of those colors of the sunset. Jul 10th
