Thank you all for your positive comments, and yes TJ, it's sad that we have such a country that folks feel that they must have 'security' lights shining all night. When I bought my 'little house' to retire to, I had the security light removed. I now use those solar motion lights that turn off after a minute, just on the steps. |

I like the eye movement through the image, and the slow water. Bet you could have gotten this with three bracketed images? Great DOF. |

Such a peaceful image. I can imagine sitting there in one of the chairs and watching the sunset. Well-done. |

I like the colors and eye movement throughout the image. It gives me a sense of the SW. |

I like both images. Shooting this piece of farm equipment I find a challenge, but fun. If you are wanting suggestions, I suggest a slight crop at the top and both sides, as well as a lowering of the whites just a tad. They appear to be overexposed a notch or two? I like the movement in the secondary shot. I would have a tendency to keep the yellow dandies in the foreground of the main image, and perhaps a heavy top crop, creating a pano?? Lovely colors! |

What a good shot! The toning works great, and the composition is spot on! |

Thank you for your positive responses. I am lucky to live in a part of the country (SE) that has relatively dark skies. This was shot near my house. I do have woods all around, so it's not easy to have an interesting foreground in the night sky images. I realize that the darkest skies in our country are in the West. Lots of ambient light just about everywhere in the East! |
