10 Feb 21 Comment So refreshing to see this color during the winter months! Thanks for lightening up our cold weather. I like the fact that you used f-18 to get all of the images in sharp focus, as this is not always possible. I agree with Donna about a bit of crop. Well-taken. Feb 25th

28 Feb 21 Reply I don't see the animals. But, I like the original colors better than b&w. I'm glad you had fun with this picture! Feb 25th
28 Feb 21 Reply LOL. I love it! If you keep working on something like this, you could maybe show one, just the face, show #2 maybe half of the body, and then most of the body of buffalo #3? There are tutorials out there on how to combine images. Most people do it using layers. I have experimented with erasing the part of the top layer I didn't need, and then degrees of erasing. But, three buffalo barreling out of the woods adds a lot to this photograph! Feb 25th
28 Feb 21 Reply Thank you Steve. Trees have always been special beings to me. Feb 25th
28 Feb 21 Reply Thanks Kathy. You are giving me all kinds of ideas! Feb 25th
28 Feb 21 Reply Thank you Marti. I like what you did! Feb 25th
28 Feb 21 Comment Wow, minimalistic for sure! So peaceful looking. I actually like the colors in the original better than the b&w, although the b&w gives a wonderful range of gradients. Thanks for giving us some 'summer fun'! Feb 15th
28 Feb 21 Comment Ah, a canoe at just the right place and time! Wonderful scene and composition. I find the brightness of the grasses in the foreground a little distracting, otherwise a great shot. Have you tried this in black and white, or perhaps selective colors? It gives the viewer a sense of autumn for sure. Another thing that could be done with this picture would be to crop into a pano, with just the lake and canoe. It's funny how sometimes there reside several images in one composition. Nice catch. Feb 15th
28 Feb 21 Comment This image reminds me of one of Bev Doolittle's paintings of horses in the woods, and her 'hidden images'. I'll bet you could get a little 'creative' with this image too. I like the dof, all being in focus, the subtle colors of the trees and yes, winter woods do give the sense of peacefulness. Well-captured. Feb 15th
28 Feb 21 Comment I love the textures, lighting and colors of this image. You did a great job with editing and the dof is perfect! High key lighting works well for this beautiful blossom. Feb 15th
28 Feb 21 Reply LOL, no Shelia, the holes are not large enough for anyone other than a tiny person to enter.........what a compelling thought tho! The holes are probably about a foot in height. Feb 15th
28 Feb 21 Reply Thank you Deborah. Feb 15th
28 Feb 21 Comment What we don't put ourselves through to get a good shot! Well-done and I like everything about this image except for the small bright light at the left of the base of the tower. I would have a tendency to clone it out. Well-done! Feb 15th

31 Feb 21 Comment A compelling image. It's not often I see images of water in b&w that are well-done. This one has great features and shows the movement of water very well. Feb 25th

34 Feb 21 Comment A delightful image. I enjoy it much. Feb 25th
34 Feb 21 Comment What an interesting image. The skulls are a little overpowering to me, but I don't care for them in any image, so that's personal. Your layering is awesome, and the central figure, with the birds and the clear eyes, makes this image pop for sure. Well-done. Feb 25th
