What a lovely, simple image. I like how you dealt with the horizon line. (I'm just visiting from a different group). |

Deborah, I thought I saw your name listed for two acceptances to one of the PSA recent contest. I consider it an honor to just be accepted!! |

Don't you just love curvy roads! This is quite a road. Good eye for the shot! Lovely autumn colors. A little crop on the right might move the road to off center? What a delightful spot! |

At first glance, I thought I saw tears!! Good capture of the details! You did well to capture the light and dark together. Looks as if the Z-6 did the job well. |

After reading my comment to Deborah, I realize that folks may think I don't archive my images...........I do, on external hard drives, but what I don't do is write out for myself an explanation of what I am doing at the time of manipulation of an image, as well as don't always save copies of the images used all in one place. The image I submitted this month was worked on probably two months ago, and I added the deer not long before submitting. So, I have realized that I do shoot an enormous number of images, and keep those that don't have something crazy wrong with them, and even tho they all have different numbers, I am not doing well with my cataloging, even tho that has improved over the years. So, you have my apologies, and I'll try to do better. |

Deborah, I must apologize for being sloppy with my submissions. After looking closely at this image, I realize that I posted the wrong autumn woodsy scene since it looks as if I used a different, but a similar one. Here is the deer, if not this image, one taken of this group that is almost like this one. I must tell you that sometimes I work on images and don't have a thought of submitting them to this group, then later must go back into the archives and try to find the exact same one I used if making a composite, and I'm not always successful, so I apologize. My compositions are not to the level that I feel I must save them each, along with each individual image all in a group, as I am still learning about putting pictures together. The blend mode I used was mostly normal, and mostly I layered and erased to get the deer faces. I just used a percentage on the green and woodsy leaves background, two together, then added the deer last.

What a beautiful bird, and great shot! The only thing I see that is not perfect is the second foot that is oof. Wonderful details otherwise, and thank you for posting a bird that many of us will never see. It's beautiful. |

Isn't it incredible what images we can get sometimes with just lightening them up! I like your final image. Very creative, and it goes well with a pano crop. |

I really like the background. Nice lighting without too many shadows. You did give yourself a challenge and I'd say you made it well because I see no lights being reflected. Was the soft box to the left, and the reflector in front or on the right? Good experiment. |
