Well-done, and the colors are lovely. I like it that you have no harsh shadows and that both sides of her face and eyes are in good focus and lighting. If I have any suggestions (and this would be a not necessary one), it would be to do a slight top and left side crop. Enough of the hat would still show the shape, and the extra room behind the model would be removed. It would have been nice to see just a little more of the coat (and therefore the theme) and a little less skin, but the colors and clarity of the model (with the dark and oof background) is particularly nice. I might have a tendency to clone out any distractions in the background. |

Wonderful dof and colors and sharpness. This is probably a minor thing for most people, but I find the two areas where the background is showing pulls at the eye. I might be inclined to reduce the importance of those transitions. Nice textures and a beautiful simple shot of four basic colors. |

Wonderful colors and shot! I enjoyed your story too. I can imagine what it must have been like just getting there, and then to come away with such a beautiful shot is like icing on the cake. Well-done. |

Hello Sharon,
I am visiting from a different group and happened upon this one. Your image is beautiful and striking especially due to the composition and colors. Have you tried a horizontal flip, having the stream enter the image in the lower-left instead of the lower right. It might or might not be an improvement on an already really lovely image. This would be a wall-hanger for me! |
