I am visiting from another group, but this shot caught my eye right away. Beautiful colors, sharpness, and dof. Well-done. |

Thank you Tom for the suggestions. Sometimes there are more than one way to 'skin a cat', eh. |

Wonderful details, and colors. You might consider bringing the subject forward away from the leaves in the background to isolate her more. Nice pose, and what a delightful character! |

Wow, you have wonderful vision! It would never have occurred to me to add leaves and do all the work you did on this image, and the final result is wonderful. The image gives me the feeling of falling leaves into a reflective pool. Well-done!! |

What a wonderful shot. The pano works great! You had obviously excellent lighting and wonderful clouds! A wall hanger for sure! |

I disagree with judge #3, as I think the original is a stronger image. However, the cropped version is good too. It shows the important parts. Well-shot and well-seen. |

Thank you Deborah. I considered removing the power lines, but decided to leave them, at least for now. It is a good idea tho, and would probably improve the image quite a bit. |

Wonderful shot Tom! Smart to get there early as I know this is a popular spot. I love the slow shutter speed, and the lighting. |

I was wondering about that also Don. It sure looks like the Canadian side, from the one visit I made several years ago. |

Thank you Trey. I think the black is a bit heavy as well. I think it shows up a little less black on my 'puter. If I print this image or enter it in a show, I will for sure see if the dark water can't be worked with. |

What a wonderful shot! The boat adds a place for the eye to settle. I like Richard's edit, but this is a fantastic image. Will you have it printed? |

Isn't Olympic NP a wonderful place to shoot moss, ferns and old forests! Well-spotted, with the fern in the foreground and the trees leading the eyes toward the back of the forest where there are more ferns! I might have the tendency to crop almost a third from the top, leaving the ground cover as the main subject. I might also have a tendency to reduce the green saturation just a tad and lighten the blacks or mid-tones just a tad. But, it works both ways. What a wonderful way to show depth in an image. |

LOL, reminds me of images of a dragon breathing fire out of the two sides of the nostrils. I like the grunge look. What would happen if you cropped the top part out? The colors are perfect for this type of shot. Well-spoted. |
