28 Oct 18 Comment What a sweet scene. You might consider lightening the yellow chairs a little or highlighting them a bit for emphasis? What catches my eye right off are the street lights and the lights swinging between. I find that I can place myself right into this scene. Oct 17th
28 Oct 18 Comment Ah, what fun to take a favorite picture and then add a different quality to it. I like the abstract movements, especially of the leaves and colors. Oct 17th
28 Oct 18 Comment You do find some of the most interesting compositions!! Lovely depth, color and I like everything about this image. Well-spotted and well-taken! Oct 17th
28 Oct 18 Comment Wow, very nice! Thanks for describing the process. I agree with Mark, this is about as good as it gets, although I'm sure there are many other creative adventures with drops waiting! I'm surprised it took 2 seconds for the exposure, but I've not tried this in many years. I especially like the colors, milky white, and the black or dark background! Oct 17th
28 Oct 18 Comment Congratulations for your image in the showcase this month. I like it a lot!

Very well-done composition and a composite of the two images. Black and white works well here. I don't usually like images of tombstones or graveyards, but this one is an exception! Final image is much improved from the original! It works!

46 Oct 18 Reply Good idea Don. You know, after your suggestion, I see how that would work well. It's funny that we see new things in our images after someone else points them out! Oct 24th
46 Oct 18 Comment Don would like to see some details in the upper stories of the buildings, and I'd like to see some stars shining through, LOL!! You did well tho to get so much of the dynamic range! Oct 24th
46 Oct 18 Comment All of these images look good to me, I even light the original 3 because you can see past the grill! Well-taken and well-processed. I suspect this is one of those images that would lend itself well to a number of different finishes or filters. Oct 17th
46 Oct 18 Reply Doubt it will sell Trey, although a nice thought! I suspect that Chihuly glass would have their own photographers, and I might get into trouble trying to sell an image of their glass. Thanks for the feedback tho. Oct 17th
46 Oct 18 Reply Thaks Paul. Oct 17th
46 Oct 18 Comment I agree with Trey, very nice image. You might consider lowering the saturation or amount of yellow/reds, just a tad, but otherwise, much improved over the original!

46 Oct 18 Comment Buildings, real estate listings, and houses are a great way to use the exposure ranges of HDR. This image shows a lot of the room attributes and even the yard. A quick and easy way to darken the glass panes would be to quick select each individual frame of the window, and darken them a tad. If you had many to do, that might become time-consuming. Nice coloring, and not too much distortion with the wide-angle. Well-taken. Oct 8th

46 Oct 18 Comment I prefer the colored version, but both work well, and perhaps there is a bit more details in the black and white. Well-done Stephen. Sorry to hear about your hard drive crash. Glad to know that this image was salvaged. It is simple, complex, and quite compelling. Nice depth, colors, and lighting. Makes me feel that I am the one standing there taking the image! Oct 8th
46 Oct 18 Comment What a beautiful image. I like how the white columns frame the images as well as helps the colors to stand out. Gary did a good job of straightening, but I also enjoy the more muted colors of the original. A lovely image, and a good example of when to use multiple exposures to capture it all. Oct 8th
