Thanks Tom. Actually this may not be my favorite shot from the two nights of shooting the auroras, but yes, I do plan to make a print for my home. |

Well-done Steve. Nothing not to like in this image, and I do agree with Kathy about removal of the gun helping. Maybe you could change the color of the blue sky to be more blue than cyan? It's just a tad dark near the top, but works ok for me. Nice skin tones and pose for the model. |

Wow, those curves in the rails stand out, giving the image almost a comical look. Love the strong colors, shadows and lines. |

I got a chuckle out of seeing the cows in the background, overlooking a graveyard. I actually like the original image better, but do think you have achieved a more spooky look. |

I like the intense expression on the model's face, and his stance. The grunge look is ok, but the reds seem to be a little over saturated. Nice lighting to further intensify the action. |

Thanks Gary. The experience always seems greater than the image! Somehow, the colors don't seem to be as dramatic as they were in real life. But, that's the way it is sometimes. I have all of my big walls filled with photographs right now!! |

Wonderful shot Gary. I like all three of your images, but the final one is tremendous! Thanks for the explanation. |

Richard, you noticed the rust first and I noticed the steam first. I agree with removing the flowers on the left, or do something to decrease their importance. Something else to watch out for is what looks like some fringing or chromatic aberrations in the upper part of the ironwork, where it interacts with the sky. Camera raw has a check for removal of these abnormal colors, and it works to varying degrees. Wonderful composition! Have you tried converting this to a black and white? I find this to be a very powerful image. |

What fun using a fisheye lens! Good job! I am wondering why we see a couple of buildings at the top of the finished image and they are not in the other two? Maybe you cropped the originals? If it were my image, I would clone out those two buildings, but it works well either way. I really like how the buildings in the distance in the middle show up as lighter than the foreground. All the curves seem to make this into a cozy spot. |
