It seems to me that dragons almost always have less than ideal backgrounds! You did not use focus stacking? Wonderful sharpness throughout the subject, which is usually difficult to get. Perfect focus for sure! |

Thanks Shelia. The lighting and terrain were terrible for shooting the swans. |

I like both the original and the creative image. Three boats in a row decreasing in size certainly gives the image depth. Good job making an ok looking image look special! I could see this on the wall of a gallery for sure. |

I like your crop, and the shadows are awesome!! Did you try converting it to a portrait orientation and just keeping the stairs? Might be interesting. Well-done! |

Jeffery, I like the mono better! I also like the original 2 as a stand alone, maybe with a fairly heavy crop on the top? You are right, sometimes color detracts the eye. |

Jeffrey, how do you like the Aurora HDR program? They have recently had some promotions. I have considered purchasing one but would be interested in what you think of it.
Great shot. What time of day did you take this, using a 6 stop ND filter? I have been there, and during a lot of the day time the falls is really bright. You did well! If you wanted the water to be the main focus, you could do a heavy top crop and leave out the sky. Lots of nice details in the stones, water, and bridge. |

I don't know about the Pentax, but sometimes I am not happy with the reds as captured by Nikon's. Good job with capturing the colors and not blowing out the whites. |

What a wonderful spot. I like how you caught the sun, with the sunburst. You might consider taking either 5 or 7 shots as the white part of the sky looks a little blown out. However, it's still a wonderful shot. Wonderful colors! |

The exposure, color and presentation of the vehicle is wonderful. Sharpness of subject is good. I agree with Richard about leaving something for the front tires to rest on, and the selective tool you used might have been a bit more exact. Blurring the background helps the beautiful car to stand out. |

Thanks Richard, and you are right, it would help bring the eye to the beautiful stones and river if I darken the trees and far bank. Yes, the Alaska trip was great. |

What a nice final image! Definitely better than either of the originals! Good job with hand-holding at those speeds! Not an easy shot to get so clear with partial shade. Well-done. |
