Interesting effects. I like the original, maybe with some lightening of the mid-tones. Nice composition, but like Tom, I want to wipe the branch out of the way so to see the building better, sort of like pushing bangs of hair out of the eyes. It's amazing what is available for us to use to enhance photos! Well-done. |

Good story-telling image, and nicely composed. Thanks for the info. about how you processed it. I have yet to get a printable photo from my smart phone, but for sending to other phones or internet media, the phone does ok. Good job!! |

Thanks for your suggestion Tom. Actually the light used was a powerful flashlight, moving too slow through the image! The shot was taken on a tripod, so no excuse for not taking a longer time with a higher aperture! Good suggestion. |

Thanks Kathy, and as soon as I pulled this up on this site, I saw the fence post on the right that needs eliminating! |

AWESOME SHOT! Is this one shot or an HDR? Tripod or hand-held, or the camera lying on the floor? (or were you lying on the floor?) Wonderful details and sharpness. Your capitol dome also has lovely colors! |

I like the perspective you shot the image from. The sun glare does not distract for me, but the slanting walls I might have a tendency to straighten. Lovely light and colors! |

Well-done. Great pose, and I love the outfit. The only suggestion I have would be to clone out the small white box like item behind the model next to the fence on the left as it pulls at the eye a bit. Well-done! |

Thanks for the suggestion Gary, as even tho I took the goose picture the same day, it did not have a good reflection in the original. Good suggestion. |

Nice reflections with great color and lines. How did you manage to shoot straight on without being in the image? Well-processed! |

But Richard, don't you think the water is the more exciting subject? It does work that way, quite well. |

The totality of the scene is nice, with some framing of the stream. I find my eyes are pulled to the lighter moss on the right, so I might have a tendency to darken that area and let the stream be the bright area. Beautiful scene for sure. I actually like the darkest of your exposures the best, quite moody. |

Thanks for the info. I like the image better without the black above. I'll have to look into Aurora. Not too long ago I updated my photomatix, (most recent update changed it quite a bit and I'm still getting used to it) but I downloaded some presets from one of those TV fellows who used to have a program, so I have some other presets too. |

Good idea on the flipping, works well with the leading lines. Lovely 'old and rusty' colors. I might have a tendency to crop this into a pano, just below the black spot directly above the blinker, making that truck part the most important in the shot. I like it either way. I really like the leading lines. How do you like using Aurora? |

Wow, you set quite a challenge with this image, and were able to create an acceptable image of one of the iconic spots in this country! Well-done. You might consider a slight lowering of the blue tones in the water, bringing it more toward white. It's amazing what these digital cameras capture in the shadows. You did a great job with hand-holding at those speeds! |
