28 Mar 17 Comment Nice emotional capture, wonderful details and just right dof. Good use of the adjustable nd filter, and one I have not thought about using, shooting portraits during strong sunlight. The only thing that pulls my eye is the shiny skin area on the papa's temple and face. Was this sweat, or some kind of paint? I would say you attained the goal of capturing this couple undetected. Sweet image. Mar 8th
28 Mar 17 Reply You are correct Edwin. Thanks. I hadn't even considered that option! Mar 8th
28 Mar 17 Comment Ah, wonderful details, colors, and exposure! Suggest a little less room at the bottom, and a little more room at the top above the bird's head. It doesn't get much better than this! Mar 8th

46 Mar 17 Comment Thanks Richard and Jeffrey for your advice. Both good suggestions! Mar 26th
46 Mar 17 Comment Incredible details and nice dof. Good job Walter! Mar 26th
46 Mar 17 Comment Oh no, I love the color version! There is just enough difference in the colors of the trees, grass, and machine to separate them. All of the wonderful details are present. This would be a wall hanger for me! Good job editing and catching details in the shadows, for what must have been difficult shooting conditions. Mar 8th
46 Mar 17 Comment Good job with the exposure on what looks to be a sunny situation! Great color, detail and lighting. I like the crop, although a tad more room at the top above the flag might have given the flag more importance. Good job with bringing up some of the shadows. I worked on the flag in ps, cloning out the ghosting, and selectively darkened the colors. It's not perfect, but perhaps just a little change. Hope you don't mind. I have found that photomatix does a pretty good job of deghosting, after selecting the area of possible movement. Mar 8th
46 Mar 17 Comment I agree with Gary, the earthy colors in photo #1 seem nice. The tree and sky in the final image tho have the really good color. Nice sharpness throughout. It's not always you get the nice sky color and clouds in the mountains. Good catch. Mar 8th
46 Mar 17 Comment I like the change Jeffrey made and it does bring out the sunset better. A lovely image, wonderful colors and I enjoy the softness of the image. Mar 8th
46 Mar 17 Comment I had not re-formatted the cards, so I was able to salvage the images taken this day, (I had saved the HDR's in a different folder!) Mar 4th
