Thanks for you positive comments. I used f22 to get the depth of field. With these positive thoughts, I believe that I will print the image and a few more from the shoot for a local exhibition later in the year.

Very nice capture, Ian. Like Guy, my eyes are drawn to the distorted and painterly reflections of the ferris wheel and the buildings as they overwhelm the building on the left border. Guy's editing takes care of the distraction nicely.

A beautiful bird captured beautifully. I particularly like the reflections in the water that point the eye to the well placed head, eye and green Lores. Your timing was exquisite. Did you consider a BW version after looking at all of the various tones?

A wonderful image, Guy. Great detail, lighting and lines. My eyes want to seek out all of the interesting details. While I like the lamp with the physics of the light displayed, I believe that you can soften the starburst in Topaz if it were a problem. As I study the scene, I wonder if you were interrupted by all night party goers.

You captured the mysterious setting beautifully and then increased the impact with great editing, Bill. I hope it looks great in your home and did well in your competition.
I found that a darkened room enhanced the image on my screen. I like the thought of a vignette.

Isaac, this is a sharp, nicely edited and well composed image. From my view the focal point is the two eyes with the lines of the beaks, the backs and the necks directing my attention to the eyes. The snail adds value to the impact; as does the square framing.

Nice capture of the two ladies so deep in in conversation that they do not notice their photo being taken. The image is sharp and warm. I agree with the thought of a vignette to focus the viewers' attention on the ladies. You might consider checking if the image needs to be straightened a little bit.
