Don is an excellent shot. However, I like Tom version. If you do not want to replace the perch, it is a detriment for the bird, regardless of whether somebody would like it or not. Also, I would lighten up a bit either the background or the bird,
blue on blue is not a great combination of colors. |

Leslie, I mean that given the black band that characterizes this lovely bird, I think that just a little, very little, point of light would benefit the whole composition. |

Leslie, just a minor observation, would you give the eye a little ray of light? Very insignificant! |

Great capture. Only a minor observation as I prefer the composition with a little more room around the main subject. On this occasion I would have tried a horizontal composition, I think the image could benefit a lot. |

Yes, Leslie and Mike, you are right. The white is a bit overblown but I prefer to leave it like it is because the sun shining on the white bird is not easy to correct the tone visually. The idea of going there could be nice and measure the color temperature but it is a bit complicated. You know what I mean. Thank you for the input. any way. |

Art, I am serious you should give some online classes, I'm incapable of doing what you can with post-processing. Take Adobe, they keep changing those apps (PS/LrC) and they do the same job, but I can't keep up with changes and modifications I go nuts with them. Any way good job Art. |

The colors are certainly well-saturated nicely and bright, however, the ICM effect helps the composition immensely. To my taste, the portrait format penalizes the entire composition. I believe that the panorama format would benefit immensely the whole image. If you have another shot of the scene, you can try. |

I like both your version, Art and Kurt. Although I'm with Art as far as the content of this image. There were any chances to frame the image with a bit slightly shorter lens and keep all the limbs in the frame? If not argument is closed, otherwise you know that I like a bit busier imagining, and those nicely contorted limbs, as Art said, dancing at the first ray of sun. |

Excellent idea and nice job isolating the bug and the flower. If you prefer the flower and particularly the leaves could pop up with a little more saturated colors, but you are the artist and there are no questions in regard. |
