21 Dec 23 Comment Great job Michael. La Jolla is a great place for shooting Pelicans, the location is not ideal for the photographer, but the results are fantastic. Happy Holiday shooting. Dec 19th
21 Dec 23 Comment Leslie and Tom, thank you for your comments about my post. It is a Lava Gull. That bird is commonly seen in the Galapagos Archipelago. It is a member of a large family of medium-sized gulls, Laughing gulls and Franklin gulls are the other family members. Yeah, I should correct that eye, sorry. Dec 11th

38 Dec 23 Comment Regine, we are a FREE group of people with a common interest in discussing each other member images each month. Sometimes our ideas can be different from one to another, my taste can be different than yours. In the present image, I express the idea that the color, in my opinion, is not ideal. I did not criticize the perspective, that is a different matter. Dec 28th
38 Dec 23 Comment Kurt, I like how you switch from horse to horse very good. Kurt let me understand you EXIF: Shot at ISO 44, 1/6400 sec and f/6.3. Maybe there is a mistake somewhere? Honestly, the combination doesn't sound right, at least for me. But you did fine as usual. Dec 28th

38 Dec 23 Comment Art, I appreciated the original image, but I enjoyed the vivid colors of the processed image as well. I'm not a painter, and less an accomplished abstract artist, but my gut feelings are telling me that the original image is the the way I would take the road. No, the B&W is not appealing to me. If that would be my solution I could go with a super-contrast PP image. If remember the IF filter it corrects mostly the black-and-white colors why would you go back that way? Dec 27th
38 Dec 23 Comment Regine, I'm afraid that your image is either too complicated, for me, or is missing something. I can feel the water running below under my chair, and in any case, I appreciate your creativity and your effort in trying a new and difficult subject like water. Dec 27th
38 Dec 23 Comment Sunandan I always appreciated your creativity and the ideas you can generate with your images. I'm seriously thinking that you should try some experiments with AI. It is easier than you think. For now, I'm happy to enjoy what you show to us. Keep up with your excellent images. and good luck. Dec 27th
