38 Mar 22 Reply Kurt, Without any question you are good in using the technology in the post processing and this image is an evident proof. What I'm asking to myself is the same question Art I basically asking. Definitely your have competing images and is not clear to me if you are pushing one or the other. The sunset is beautiful but it kills the tree image that in my opinion should be the focus point. I'm an old-school photographer in all senses, we had only an enlarger and a limited (very limited) resources at disposal, and I'm convinced that the only photograph is that in eyes of the photographer (when he's pushing the trigger) anything we had in PP is superfluous and not anymore photography. Please, do not read me wrong. As well as every photographer out there I have the Nik Collection suite and Im using that but in a very limited way. Sorry, again, I'm an old photographer, try to understand my ideas. Mar 15th
38 Mar 22 Reply Art, and all thank you for the comments, really appreciated. About the bare branches, I think that they add a sense of depth to the image as well as the cyan and bue, I think, giving the image a well definite sense of season and tme. The image was taken relatively early in the morning, considering the latitude of the location, changing the temperature of the colors, I believe, changes the mood in a way that is not real, and as well it changes the definition of the image. I think that removing them it changed the image mood totally. Thank you. Mar 14th
38 Mar 22 Comment Art, definitely you do much better with the IR conversion, I'm not sure about these ICM images. I'm an old school boy, in every sense no kidding, and I strongly believe in photography in the traditional sense, composition, focusing, colors and so fort. Hope you understand my position. Thank you. Mar 14th
38 Mar 22 Comment Marge sorry for the delay. It is a beautiful image, well exposed, and in focus as it should be. Just work for a minimum of fine tuning with your post processing application. Mar 10th
38 Mar 22 Comment Nice Landscape image. Just some minor adjustments, luminosity, saturation, contrast for a well done job. Mar 2nd
