Nice well done job Sylvia. However as you might noticed already the board walk takes away the interest from the rest of the scene that is, in my opinion, a well written story, Art cropping is good and corrected some of the problem I mentioned but didn't eliminate that completely. Next time try to work more on the composition, and always leave some room for eventual post processing, don't crop the scene in the camera too tight. |

Yes, beautiful image Marge. And to improve the photo even more I would either do what Art suggested or even work a bit on the original file and adjust the composition just moving the subject off-center. Good work. |

Kurtis at the first sight I thought that the guy was upset with you but I immediately realized that to was something else. I like the image, sharp focus nice color tones, however, as I often explain I like to have a little bit more space around the focal point. I believe it would improve the image very much.

Indeed the image is a bit over-exposed, and toning down the white is a bit too difficult unless you work with layers. Recently I did quite a bit of macro but I'm not very familiar with multiple exposure, my camera automatically shots 5 or more photogram and then the included post-focus software that produce the best all-in-focus image. Nice try and good image. |

Yea Sunandan, I sort of agree with Art, although I think that flipping the image it doesn't change much the dark area in the question. I tried to lighten up all the image and with a little more contrast the image is somewhat better, maybe working on the original file you can try to adjust it. I like the pastora scene and the majesty of the mountains, that I believe to be the Himalaya Range. However the strong light coming in very low from the horizon is a bit difficult to correct. |

Art your image reminded to me when we used to solarize pictures. I'm sure that you too as well remember that trick in the dark room. So I did a little adjustment, I'm sure that you don't like it, but I do. Good job. |

Thank you Art. This morning I took out the original unprocessed file and believe me, as much as this image looks over processed, it si not. So I like to stick with my original choice, that sky was looking just the way we see it, after 2 long days of uninterrupted rain. |

Sorry I must correct that the picture was taken in late afternoon not mid morning. Please, accept my apologies. The time indicated in the EXIF says 10:30am, but here I'm seven hours ahead of my home CST. |
