38 Feb 18 Comment Thank you Art, indeed there were a couple of spots need to be cleaned. Also Gerhard, do not think that the image suffers of "excess cropping." I went back to see the original file and the EXIF. I had the 100-300mm lens on the camera, the EXIF shows that the lens was set at 260mm. You got to think that with a M4/3 sensor I do not have much room to crop the image. Beside, I had the Camera set on 4K and many photograms are useless because the I was very close to this bird. I had the camera hand held, and the bird wing-span easily covers the small sensor. I noticed that Egrets, have a funny way to use their feathers and this it might be the case. Maybe. Feb 15th
38 Feb 18 Comment Well done job Phyllis. And I agree with all other group members comments, but mostly I would suggest to you of working on composition. As I suggest to somebody else, the PSA offers a lot of help in many aspect of Photography. And it is free. I strongly suggest you to use some of this help it will improve your skills immensely. If you need help let me know. I admit I did get this help in some ways.

38 Feb 18 Comment Marge you caught a nice shot of the moon that night. I did some shooting as well, here in California we had a clear sky. However, being our home on the beach I didn't have trees to put in the scene. I think that Art is right that you should crop some of the foliage to enhance the moon as the main subject. Feb 15th
38 Feb 18 Comment Nicely done Kerstin. The resulting image is a perfect example of, as we say, PhotoShopping. And it perfectly shows your mood, your feelings you described to me when you sent in the images. Feb 15th
38 Feb 18 Comment Excellent capture Art. Perfect focus and light. The faces of gymnasts tell the story. Feb 15th
38 Feb 18 Comment Art as always you have a technically perfect image, however, to me it lacks a little bit of movement, or dynamism. Feb 15th
38 Feb 18 Comment Indeed, a nice one. Congratulations Rolf. Gorgeous color, nice silhouette, perfect focus. The only thing I might like to mention that you con work a bit more on the composition. In regard the PSA offers a good variety of on line courses, mentorship, image evolution and more, just dig into their website and you'll find the help you might need. Welcome to our group. Feb 15th
