Good job Phyllis. B&W never fails in this occasions. Yes, the image is a bit flat but you can adjust the contrast to correct that. The B&W copy show a nice range of tones and I would work on that direction more than change the post adjustments. Play with Silver Efex, trying with different filters and Viveza, as well, too. |

Indeed, I think is a nice winter image. Increasing contrast it might make the white popping up but the problem I think is the amount of snow does not cover the ground evenly. And I would, also, flip the image. |

I think that, no matter what it is a fantastic shot. Definitely the reflection would probably add some interest to the composition, or at least trying to eliminate that little shadow that is a little distraction right now. And the sharpness is incredible. Keep that lens, I think is a special one. |

Indeed Gerhard, you are right on, however the original image includes the complete arches without "amputation." I had to compromise to crop the images suitable for the purpose. |
