Marge I like this image as whole, it gives to the viewer a general sense of peace, and you were smart to keep the horizon line above of the upper third of the image. Yes, considering the light conditions colors appear to be in need of some brightness. but you can easily correct that with the help of any post processing photo application. Nice and sharp focus and composition. |

Nice well composed, sharp focus for this image. Horses always offer a chance to take some good shots and you Kerstin were clever in getting this one. |

Nice image and full of action in that little world of those creatures. Also you chose the right vertical composition slightly slanted on the side. Interesting image. |

Yes, only a crop of the bottom could improve the composition, mostly that part of the foreground out of focus. More that that another famous captures of Gerhard, full of action, beautiful and saturated colors and tac sharp focus. |

Craig this is a powerful image, everything is expressed extremely well. The snow that coats the animal as high as the buffalo eight. The elevated positions of the right from leg that it gives the viewer the unmistakable sense of movement. The sharp and dark eye aimed to the unknown that the animal is facing during the worst and harsh of the seasons. The only thing missing is the condensation coming out of his nostrils but still a very nice image masterly captured. |

Hi Everyone, I'm sorry, with respect to every one's opinion, I'm not agree with many comments. Kerstin, I do not know where you see to much information, the main focus point here are the flowers and eliminating some of them makes the whole image much poorer. Craig your cropping to me do not make sense, as matter of fact at first sight my eyes fell right in that part of the image that to me looks like a black hole without any purpose, it doesn't add any thing to the general balance of the image instead it makes it totally unbalanced and I question the composition as well that to me does not look right. The only suggestions that make sense, to me, is that from Art. Yes I cold improve the dark area of ground, but nothing else. I'll do that and enter the image in some salon to see what kind of reaction I'll get. Thank you anyway all comments are appreciated and help a lot to to refine my images. |
