65 Feb 26 Comment I like the simple composition and the detail in the leaves. I know the dark area between the two leaves is the result of the shadow of the one leaf cast on the second leaf. To my eye it's a bit of a distraction. Each time I study the image my eye is drawn to this area. Nice border with a nice color. Feb 16th

65 Feb 26 Comment Great image of lichens with great detail. Beautiful colors throughout. Lichens are interesting in that they have a symbiotic relationship between fungi and algae. One does not exist without the other. I like the image the way it is without the vignette. I would crop the left side enough to remove the yellow lichen in the upper left corner. I really like the group of lichens you chose for this image. Feb 10th
65 Feb 26 Comment Nice detail in the petals showing some nice detail. The rose retained nice color. I agree with David about the lower right petal. With your camera on a tripod, you could have used a smaller aperture and gained DOF. I also agree with David on a tight crop. Feb 8th
65 Feb 26 Comment Like the detail in the leaves and their shapes. Like how the snow looks in the image. I would not change anything about the color of the snow. Snow will have a blue cast in the shadow areas not only due to blue sky but also because of very cold temperatures. Very well done, David. Feb 8th
