65 Sep 25 Comment Nice image with nice composition. I agree with David to darken the background. Agree with Mark about a second light source. In all my shots I use a reflector as a secondary light source to open up the shadow areas. If both light sources are equal the image can be flat with no depth. Location and intensity of the secondary light source is very important. Sep 21st

65 Sep 25 Comment Great detail in all the parts of this sunflower. Nice colors throughout the sunflower. I would like to see the flower rotated 45 degrees to the left to create a diagonal. This to my eye would make a better composition. I might even crop off the left side and then rotate the image 45 degrees to the left. I love the result with great impact. Hope you don't mind just an idea. Sep 15th
