65 Jul 25 Comment I like to check out the back sides of many flowers. Sometimes as is the case here the backside can be more interesting than the front. Like the colors against the white with the white against the blue. Well done, keep looking at all sides of flowers. Jul 18th

65 Jul 25 Comment Nice image of a rose. Good detail in the petals. Good to see you used a tripod which would allow you to use a smaller aperture and gain more DOF on the petals. Love the darker background with the darkened leaves. I think your composition is good with the bud in the upper right on a nice diagonal. I would not flip the image. Great lighting. Jul 17th
65 Jul 25 Comment Love the composition in this image. At this location of the camera, it shows more detail about the flower and adds interest to the image. Great background showing the leaves darkened works very well. Great lighting.
Was the camera handheld? Auto focus? To my eye the flower is not sharp. The petals on the right back side are sharp then everything else to my eye are soft. I would like to see the center of the flower tack sharp. Interested in your answers to my two questions.
