This was a sunset shot.This was the true color at the time of the shot. Did nothing with the color. |

Like the composition and the detail. Great subject. I use Helicon, have never used anything else. Nice bright colors. |

Nice image, Janet. I like the image flipped which to me makes the composition a little better. I feel the stem of the leaf with it flipped makes a good lead in line to the image and improves the composition. Added about 45% structure to help bring out the texture in the snow. Also darkened the lightest area of the snow a bit. Nice image. |

I agree with Stuart on everything he has said. I did back the brightness back a little and cropped the background. I also changed the image to a horizontal which I like much better. I feel its so much easier to view. Like the composition better. |

This is a wild flower called Colts Foot, Tussilago farfara. After they flower they will get a leaf shaped like a colts foot thus the name. The seed head will look somewhat like a dandelion. Some of the plant is used for medical purposes. This is a perennial plant. |
