Hi Laki, glad to see you back this month. I love the subject here and the composition. I just don't care for the texture you used in this image. I feel it would be a great image without it. Maybe add a little more texture. |

Hi Tony, I must say up front, I'm not a fan of taking a picture with the subject in the image, then cropping the image to get a close-up. A lot of people are doing this today but this is not truly macro or close-up photography. There's a world of difference. If you truly do macro photography you know how difficult it is to get a great macro shot. When you crop to make a close-up it lacks the detail that a great close up will have and especially a macro. Macro is more than using a macro lens.

Hi Tom, For the most part, to my eye you did a good job on your stack. I agree with Tony about the color. I also don't care for the harsh shadow on the bottom middle petal and feel the center of the flower could be a bit brighter. Overall a good image. |
