I very much like your suggested changes, Dorinda. The original sky was a very dull and uniform slate gray so common here in Delaware in the winter. I substituted a sky from my sky collection more in keeping with the spirit of the image I was trying to portray. I agree with those who found a need for sharpening. |

You did a nice job here in creating an image with a story. The snow is an effective addition. I agree with Dorinda's suggested crop as the additional platform competes with the couple, the subject here. |

I also like the sandhill cranes and see them when they migrate to Florida in the winter time. I agree with the others that the bird on the left needs to go. On my monitor, the two birds with the touching heads are sufficiently separated as not to bother me that much. The eye of the bird in front is very sharp and that is what counts. |

Very nice composition, Judy. I agree with your choice of b&w which adds drama to the tension provided by the disequilibrium of the balls. The grass suggests that there is an end to their travel. I am of two minds about that. What were your thoughts? |

You have done a nice job with this picture, Bill. I particularly like the sharpness of the squirrel and the complementary colors in the blurred background. |

I like the colors in this photo and the lines of the brown earth against the aqua water. There is enough in the strip of land nearest the camera and the abutting water for a nice picture if sharpened up. The upper part of the image is too out of focus and doesn't really add much in my opinion. Also, the heavy overcast sky doesn't seem to square with the bright sunlight and shadows in the foreground. |
