Excellent shot, Jody! Well focused and the reflection is nicely shown in the only patch of still water present. I like also the action that comes through in the photo. The small twig sticking out from the post looks as though it might be an extension of the bird's wing. A small bit of cloning from the post would separate the two. |

I Like the blending of the background with the main subject, keeping the main subject focus and nicely blurring the background. Beautiful colors too. If anything, I think that reduction of the highlights on the blossoms would be beneficial. |

As others have pointed out, there are really three images here: the workbench, the locomotive, and the combination of the two. I like the combination because it tells the story I think that's implied in the locomotive barn. I have spent a lot of time looking at this picture intrigued by the capture you have accomplished. If anything, I would tone down the brightness in the center part of the photo as it borders on distracting from the part you really want to show. Wonderful photograph! |

Beautiful composition, Tom. You have done a great job capturing the striking colors here. The imposition of a subject here could make this an outstanding photograph - say, a silhouette of you, with arms akimbo, staring at this display. In short, it needs a subject, in my opinion. |
