Somehow the colors don't work for me ( they didn't for the graffiti artist either). Perhaps increasing the saturation of the green ivy would help separate it from the colors on the fence. I like the concept your working toward, though. |

Using the tree to partially prevent the sun from overwhelming the image seems to work well here. I think the birds add greatly to the final picture. The sharply focused water in the foreground also is effective. The black right hand side is adding little to the composition. |

Great capture, Tom. I love the expression that you have been able to capture on her face. It makes the picture for me. That said, I would have liked to see more of her expression and less of other things that are in this photograph (people, buildings, even some of the bicycle). |

Like others, I love the colors that you have been able to bring out in Froggy. Most people seem more comfortable cropping more of their image than I am. Like Jody, I like to be aware of where the picture was taken and the context in which it was taken. I guess some feel more comfortable with the frog facing in one direction rather than another, but that's not me either. In short, I am happy with your original presentation. |
