30 Jun 21 Reply Thanks Leonid. I think your suggestions greatly improve the image. Jun 10th
30 Jun 21 Reply The railing was a problem in this image, namely, a large trash can in the foreground that I found very difficult to clone out, so I cropped it. Jun 10th
30 Jun 21 Comment I like the image, but agree with others that there is a little too much sharpness and color in the sand. Jun 10th
30 Jun 21 Comment I have nothing constructive to add to the comments of others. The highlights on the right hand side of the figure are somewhat distracting. I like Judy's suggestions. Jun 10th
30 Jun 21 Comment Excellent shot Judy! I like Robert and Dorenda's effort to add color to the photograph. in my view, a lot of life is added with the color. However, Dorinda's enhancement of the brown has altered the look of the woodstork's head which is generally just black and white. It might have been masked out of the color enhancement. Jun 10th
30 Jun 21 Comment Good job Jessica. I love the feel that this image conveys and agree with those that feel it could be as equally be conveyed with some of the sky removed. I also agree with Leonard and Robert that the image would be improved by increasing the contrast. Jun 10th
30 Jun 21 Comment Very nice shot Tom! I particularly like the speed at which the shot was made: the slight blurring of the baseball and the bat add interesting motion to this picture. If I had any suggestion would be to get some of the background out of the main subject of the image. Some blurring, darkening, or Leonid's suggestion about a vignette would do it. Jun 10th
30 Jun 21 Comment I have always been a big fan of Dusty Miller and have planted it in the garden nearly every season. You've done a excellent job with it here. Dusty really doesn't need a lot of help because it's a stand-out on its own, so I feel the violet leaves make a contribution to the image. I'm inclined to agree with those that suggest trying to lighten the tree a bit. Overall, quite a striking picture!! Jun 10th
