Nice composition Durinda. Since you have a second opportunity for the picture and hesitent about focus stacking, I wonder if you might shoot on a tripod with a smaller aperture to increase the dof and bring more, but not all, of the picture into focus. As the blue background seems to bother some in the group I also wonder if you might try white as the background color? A texture might work as well. It seems to me that with a very delicate coloring of the flower the strong blue seems to overwhelm it a bit. |

I like the framing provided by the fronds. The clouds above the sun and the bird add immensely to this picture. Excellent job! |

Thanks, Judy, for the nature lesson. Like the others, I see two seperate images here. I too prefer the one on the left which is not bothered by the shadow and seems to have the more showy colors. |

Welcome to the group, Jody. Thanks for for providing a nice photograph for us to look at. Very nice detail and composition. I particularly like the cornucopia effect provided by the beads coming out of the mouth of the shell. |

For me, the snake steals the scene and I would prefer to see the focus of attention on it. There seems to be enough detail to stand cropping out the other items on the LHS. Nice shot! PS. You might warn him that threading his body through the mesh can have a bad ending. |
